About Truth About You

Private self-checks for clearer self-reflection.

Truth About You is a collection of structured self-check quizzes that help people notice emotional, relational, and behavioural patterns in plain language.

Answer first

What is Truth About You?

Truth About You is a private self-reflection product, not a diagnosis tool. It turns quiz answers into educational pattern summaries, explains limits before checkout, and links its writing, review, methodology, support, privacy, and payment rules in one public trust trail.

What Truth About You is

The platform is built for people who want a private way to reflect on questions like anxiety, burnout, attachment style, boundaries, overthinking, people pleasing, and relationship patterns.

Each self-check turns your answers into a focused result that points out patterns, possible blind spots, and reflection prompts. It is made to be understandable, not clinical or intimidating.

Mission

The goal is to make honest self-reflection easier to start. Many people can sense that something is repeating in their choices, relationships, or stress responses, but do not yet have simple words for it.

Truth About You gives those patterns a structure, so a user can decide what deserves attention without being labelled, shamed, or pushed into a one-size-fits-all answer.

How the quizzes are created

Quiz topics are chosen around common self-reflection needs. Questions are written to measure practical patterns across several dimensions, such as communication, emotional intensity, boundary clarity, avoidance, attachment behaviour, or stress load.

Where relevant, quiz context and result methods reference established psychological ideas and well-known research areas. Examples include attachment theory, anxiety screening concepts, burnout research, emotional intelligence models, and personality trait research.

The result engine scores answer patterns across the quiz dimensions and maps them to explanatory result bands. The output is designed to show tendencies and reflection points, not to make a medical decision.

Each public quiz page includes a methodology trust block, source links where available, and related self-check links so users and crawlers can understand the broader topic instead of treating one quiz as an isolated claim.

Editorial and review transparency

Truth About You uses an editorial reviewer role to check whether quiz wording, scoring explanations, limitation copy, source references, privacy statements, and paid-result claims remain consistent before publication.

Review is educational and editorial. It is intended to reduce overclaiming, improve clarity, and keep the product honest about what a self-check can and cannot tell a user.

Important limitations

Truth About You self-checks are not diagnoses, clinical assessments, or substitutes for care from a qualified professional. They do not assess crisis risk and should not be used as the only basis for serious life, medical, psychological, legal, or financial decisions.

If a result brings up something worrying or urgent, consider speaking to a qualified professional or a trusted person in your life. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Privacy commitment

Self-check answers can feel personal, so the product is designed around minimal account friction and clear access rules. Paid result access is time-limited, and recovery is handled through the email used for the quiz.

We do not ask for a full account just to take a self-check. Payment is handled by Stripe, and support requests should never include full card details.
